In the days and weeks ahead, we will be providing content here that hopefully will help you cope financially with the COVID-19 virus.  Some will be news updates, some will be planning suggestions, some may just be sayings and stories meant to educate and inform, while also putting a smile on your face…. but all are meant to help us as we navigate this new world.  We are all in this together, and together we will get through it.

WELLNESS

YOGA + MINDFULNESS | THURSDAYS AT NOON

Working remotely and differently while dealing with these crazy times has all of us searching for ways to stay healthy, happy and connected, as well as prepared for what comes next.  Recognizing that financial readiness is just a part of these efforts, Plybon & Associates, Inc. is excited to invite you to join us for a six week yoga & mindfulness class!  Beginning Thursday, April 16 at noon, and then each Thursday at noon through May 21, you can click into Zoom and enjoy virtual classes.  We’ll alternate yoga and mindfulness sessions, with the first being yoga.

We’ve partnered with Dancing Dogs Yoga in Greensboro, NC and we have first-hand experience with how amazing they are.  See below for descriptions of both classes.  Hope you’ll join us for some or all of these…look forward to seeing you on Zoom!

Our signature class is an invigorating, challenging and flowing form of yoga that will torch calories, tone your body, clear your mind, and empower your life OFF your mat. Based on the style of Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga, this class is suitable for all levels- beginners, intermediate and advanced. You will sweat, be challenged, and realize your possibility! 

In each mindfulness session, we will cover how to take your seat for meditation and will have a guided meditation.  In addition, at each session, we will have a discussion about a different aspect of mindfulness:  on April 23, we will review the history of meditation and how it has come to the West, on May 7th, we’ll look at the science behind a mediation practice, and on May 21st, we’ll look at several tools and styles of mediation to support an ongoing practice.  Each session will end with time for questions and discussion.  These sessions are for everyone – those who have never practiced mindfulness and those who have. 

 

LUNCH BREAK FITNESS | TUESDAYS AT NOON

Need to exercise a bit, but not sure what to do/where to go these days?  We’ve got you covered. Plybon & Associates, Inc. is excited to invite you to a six week “at home” workout course!  Starting Tuesday, April 21 at noon (and every Tuesday at noon for the next six weeks) join us for a 30 minutes lunch-time “break”. Lead by Bonnie Longhitano from Fitness One in Kernersville, classes will be a mix of cardio and strength for all physical fitness levels… and all exercises you can do at home!  Hope you’ll join us for some or all, and look forward to seeing you on Zoom!
